Bennetts is a popular brand of chocolate distributed throughout NZ. With a niche brand producing unique handmade chocolate, on side of their actual chocolate shop is their airy and modern café.
The outside seating gives a sense of serenity but only if there aren’t screaming children around. The mushrooms on toast were delicious. Nothing to fault, and they even mixed in caramelised onions, which just gave the dish a point of difference and lifted the flavours in the dish. Both dishes were a great portion size, which are great value for money. They were really busy and the wait for the meals were long but it was New Years Eve and they did mention this upon ordering.
