Auckland: &Sushi

Living centrally gives you more excuses to eat out. Unless you work in Newmarket or the city it means you are fighting off others for lunch in the weekend at &Sushi.

Auckland: Kiss Kiss

Being back for a few weeks now, its been great to see the change in the Auckland food scene. I should probably look at getting some work soon, but in the mean time its been a good excuse to eat out and fill my belly for breakfast, lunch and dinner at all these chic places….

Auckland: Hello Friends and Allies

After my stint in London, I am back in Auckland and ready to rip back into the wild food scene. If I learnt anything in London, although there is a lot of eateries on offer, I found it difficult to find any place that nailed brunch. A kiwi’s fav meal, it had to be one…

Brighton: Silo

Brighton is all chic, vegan, hipster, quirky. After recommendation from the awesome kiwi at Crosstown Doughnuts, he said check out Silo. Silo are the first UK Zero waste cafe. They choose local food sources that avoid processing and create everything on site, with the extent of having their own flour mill.

Auckland: Meadow

Meadow is a beautiful, airy cafe in Meadowbank. I had been meaning to try this cafe for quite sometime, we even came one Monday to find it was closed – my error on checking the opening hours before turning up. It has a very comforting chic interior – or should I say exterior.
